We are a cooperative preschool in which parents take turns assisting in the classroom on a rotating basis.  This allows parents the opportunity to be intimately involved in their child’s preschool experience.  Although we are housed in the First Congregational Church of Royal Oak, we have no religious instruction so that we may appeal to a broad range of families. 

We believe that children learn best in an atmosphere that is nurturing, caring and fun. We feel that every child is an individual who is developing at a pace unique to him/her and that preschoolers learn best through "hands-on" experiences. Our purpose is to provide an environment in which your child will grow socially, emotionally, physically and cognitively through play experiences with other children and adults.  Learning will take place through socializing, communicating, art, literature, science, music, games and more. Our program is geared toward kindergarten readiness through a balance of play and structured activity. Our goal is to foster growth in self-esteem and to provide your child with a firm foundation for enjoying school and being a successful learner.

We are the oldest co-operative preschool in Royal Oak and have served Royal Oak and the surrounding communities for 36 years. Our teachers are college graduates, have years of teaching experience and are state certified in early childhood education.
